A single rose can be my garden… a single friend, my world.
Friendship Do’s and Don’ts
A friend does not Criticize you because they don’t Interpret what you do based on their own Interpretation of you and the world. And they don’t Advise unless they are asked to do so.
These five A’s describe what a friend does in their relationship with you:
They pay Attention to you. They Accept you the way you are. They Appreciate you. They have Affection for you. And they Allow you to be the way you are even when they have to give you helpful and constructive criticism for continuously doing something no one Admires.
A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often – just to save it from drying out completely. Pam Brown
A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down. Arnold H. Glasow
It’s impossible for me to feel sorry for myself when I’m helping a friend who has a bigger disability than my own. Al Foxx
An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind. Buddha
Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies.
Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival. C. S. Lewis
If you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything. Mahummed Ali
