Why Did You Become Who You Did?
Are we products of our environments? Our friends? Our possessions? Our choices? The situations we’re born into? Our inherited intelligence and tendencies? Our likeability? Or our families?
Did we become ourselves because of our willingness or our willfulness? Who we know? Where we live? What we drive? Our luck or our lack of luck? What we choose to focus our energy on? Who we associate with?
What was the Deciding Factor.
We’re not responsible for the disabilities we’re handed at birth or by fate. We are responsible, however, for how we react to them. We are responsible for what we do with our disabilities and with our abilities. Our most powerful ability is our ability to choose. It is our ability to choose our Attitude.
We are products of the Attitudes we choose. My Attitude is my choice. I can choose to be a winner or a loser. A loser chooses to see the penalties of defeat. A winner chooses to see the rewards of victory.
A winning Attitude chooses to:
- Accept the book they’ve been given–Live until they die.
- Believe they can write a happy ending–Lighten up!
- Care about others.
